This process is for couples who want me to write them a special wedding ceremony script, and have someone else perform it.
The trick to a superfly wedding ceremony is to keep everyone on their toes. It's not about gimmicks but to crack through the familiar formats and tropes to instead tell a love story that feels fresh and surprising.
No two love stories are the same. We want to capture the flavour of your particular journey and everything you've been through and transform that into an experience where your wedding guests can feel a bit of what it's like to be you. That's the intimate gift you are giving - sharing yourselves and your relationship.
And - let’s be real - we are putting on a bit of a show.
Long gone are the days when the wedding ceremony is the 'boring bit' that everyone just wants to get through. What we want is to make the wedding ceremony the showstopper segment of the whole day. It's why everyone has come together and can be fun, emotional, irreverent, poignant, playful and entirely ‘you’.
The style of your wedding ceremony script is down to your personal style - and that of the special someone that you’ve selected to conduct it.
This process involves original-vows-writing workshops, further online sessions that delve into your history and interviews with your key family and friends. I’ll collaborate with your chosen celebrant and interview them to ensure the phrasing and tone of my writing matches their personality and delivery.
Bespoke Ceremony Script Writing - £900
This is a process that is usually spread out over a long period of time and takes about 23 hours. The fee reflects the energy, skill and experience that I invest in writing your wedding ceremony.
If you wish to book me then I ask for a deposit (usually 30%) to secure my services. I will then send you an agreement that lays out our terms and payment plan, and starting scheduling dates for our consultations.

3 x 60 min consultation calls with you, the couple (with accompanying prep & homework). Your celebrant can be involved in this process.

1 x 60 min workshop with your celebrant to meet them, ascertain their 'voice' and virtually workshop some existing bits of script I've written in different styles.

Up to 2 hours of interview calls with family & friends (includes preparation & follow up notes)

10-14 hours of scriptwriting and editing (including back/forth revisions between us)
60-90 mins editing a printable pdf 'presentation script' of the wedding ceremony as a keepsake.

1 x 60 min virtual rehearsal of the final script with you and your celebrant.

Up to 2 hours of general communication between myself and you, your celebrant and any other relevant people.
