I work with you to land on a design that reflects the essence of who you are and what you’re about - expressing that to the world in an original, unique and truthful way.
How do we get there?
Briefing!
Tell me all about your ‘thought pictures’ that need illustrating-translating onto wood, plaster, rock, paper, concrete… or something else?
Perhaps you’ve got a clear vision of what you want but you’re not sure how to transform it visually? Maybe you have a strong sense of what you want to express but you’re not totally clear on what that looks like? Or - you know exactly what your content is but you want to bring it to life in a fresh way?
I’ll make sure I understand what exactly it is that you want and what your project needs to do before sending you some suggestions around materials, design and process. I’ll ask you for visual references.
Design!
I’ll send you sketches, roughs & concepts to feedback on. I’ll mock these up digitally and show you how the artwork will look in its final resting place. Iterations, revisions and some back-and-forth until we land on your final to-scale design.
Creation!
On-site or from my workspace, I’ll use whatever application process best suits your project - chalking, taping, projecting, imagining the design onto the surface - and then on goes the paint!
Finishing!
Touch-ups & tweaks until you and I are both in love with what we’ve created. And long may it last…
